Bio and the people's noses who are behind the product: Escada is an international luxury fashion group founded in Germany by Margaretha and Wolfgang Ley in 1978. The name Escada means "staircase" in Portuguese. Escada's first fragrances were "Escada Margaretha Ley" for women 1n 1990 and "Escada Pour Homme" for men in 1993.
