Bio and the people's noses who are behind the product: Emile Charles Hermes founded "Hermes" in 1837. Known for its excellent quality in leather, started their perfume house in 1951. Hermes first fragrances were "Eau D'Hermes" for women in 1951 and "Eau D'Hermes" for men also in 1951. Hermes fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers: Maurice Roucel, Jean-Claude Ellena, Bernard Bourjois, Maurice Maurin, Francois Maurin, Jean-Louis Sieuzac, Guy Robert, Fabrice Pellegrin, Jean Guichard, Ralf Schwieger, Nathalie Feisthauer, Edmond Roudnitska, Francoise Caron, Olivia Giacobetti, Akiko Kamei and Gilles Romey.
